Kapila Technologies
Privacy Policy
How we handle information shared with Kapila Technologies through this website and our business communications.
Effective date:
Who we are
Kapila Technologies (KapilaTech) is an India-based website-development, branding and digital-marketing business serving domestic and international clients. For questions about this policy or a privacy request, email info@kapilatech.com.
Information we receive
- Website enquiries: the Contact form asks for your name, email address, optional phone number, service selection and project message. It does not have a separate company field; you may choose to include company or organisation information in your message.
- Direct communications: information you voluntarily send by email, phone or WhatsApp, including business details and correspondence.
- Career enquiries: résumés and related information emailed to careers@kapilatech.com. The current Careers page directs you to email; it does not provide a résumé-upload form.
- Technical information: our hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, request times, browser or device details and security or error logs when you use the website. The exact logging and retention settings depend on those services.
Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry. Avoid sending sensitive personal information or other people’s details unless necessary and you are entitled to share them.
Why we use information
- Responding to enquiries and discussing services, requirements and proposals.
- Managing business relationships and communications.
- Reviewing career enquiries and considering relevant opportunities.
- Operating, securing and troubleshooting the website and preventing misuse.
- Understanding website use through analytics where configured and lawfully used.
- Meeting applicable legal obligations and handling disputes or legal claims.
Lawful grounds where GDPR applies
Where GDPR applies to a particular activity, the relevant ground may be taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, meeting a legal obligation, or a legitimate interest such as responding to business enquiries or protecting our website, subject to balancing your rights. Consent is relevant where required, including for tracking technologies that require it. Sending an enquiry does not constitute consent to unrelated marketing.
The applicable ground depends on the purpose and circumstances. Kapila Technologies does not claim GDPR certification.
Service providers and sharing
Our Contact form sends enquiries through Web3Forms. Website hosting, business email and communications services also process information to provide their services. Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags. Following links to WhatsApp or other third-party services takes you to services with their own privacy practices.
We may share information with providers as needed to operate these services, with professional advisers where necessary, or where disclosure is required by law. Each provider handles information in line with its own terms and privacy practices.
Cookies and advertising preferences
We offer Accept All, Reject All and Manage Preferences to visitors worldwide. Advertising is optional and off by default. Google Tag Manager is blocked until you allow Advertising. With that permission, Google Ads technologies may measure enquiries, support advertising and personalised ads, and use advertising cookies such as _gcl_au. We do not offer an Analytics category or enable analytics consent through this interface.
Necessary local storage remembers your choice, its date and the preference version for six months. It is not used for advertising. Missing, expired or invalid preferences, or unavailable storage, leave advertising disabled. Your choice applies to this browser and website; another browser or clearing site storage requires a new choice.
You can reopen Cookie Settings in the footer at any time to change or withdraw permission. Withdrawal stops subsequent optional measurement and removes identified first-party advertising cookies where possible; the page may reload to apply the change. It cannot recall information already transmitted to a provider, and browser restrictions may prevent removal of some cookies. You can also manage cookies through your browser.
The Contact form works without advertising permission. Only a confirmed successful Web3Forms submission made while Advertising is allowed creates the kapilatech_form_success measurement event. It includes no form-field values, and earlier unconsented enquiries are not replayed after you accept. Where consent is legally required, it must be obtained before the relevant tracking is used.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the relevant enquiry, business relationship, career consideration, security purpose or applicable legal obligation. The appropriate period depends on the information, its purpose and any need to establish or defend legal claims. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised, subject to applicable obligations and backup limitations.
You can ask about retention or request deletion by emailing us. Some information may remain in service-provider backups for a limited period.
International processing
Kapila Technologies operates from India. Our service providers may process information in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, appropriate arrangements must be established for the relevant transfer. For questions about international processing, contact info@kapilatech.com.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights to access your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, or receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. These rights may be subject to conditions and legal exceptions.
Send requests to info@kapilatech.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and understand your request. Where GDPR applies, you may also complain to an applicable supervisory authority, including in your place of habitual residence, work or the alleged infringement. You do not need to contact us first to exercise that right.
Security and policy updates
We aim to use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and risks. No website, email service or transmission method offers absolute security. Please report suspected website vulnerabilities through our responsible reporting page.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The effective date will identify the current version. See also our Terms of Service.
